Barnbougle Lost Farm is a course dramatically different from the standard Links Golf Course. The sweeping fairways complement both the surrounding landscape and the iconic game itself.

Barnbougle Dunes

About the Club

Upon 200 acres of undulating coastal dunes the creative genius of famed golf architect Tom Doak and Australia’s Michael Clayton has been realised. Barnbougle, still only in its youth, continues to gain a reputation as one of the world’s top links golf courses. The breathtaking landscape upon which the course has been created mirrors the wild coastal links courses of Scotland and Ireland. As Barnbougle continues to develop with age it looks set to follow in the footsteps of these great courses.

Almost as enjoyable as working up an appetite playing golf at Barnbougle is satiating it in their restaurant and bar facilities.

Opened in 2004, the realization of potato farmer, Richard Sattler’s, vision. What the designers have produced is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Standing on the first tee it is easy to underestimate the beautifully brutal challenge of the tyrant golf course that lies ahead.

Forget for a moment the rolling fairways, cavernous bunkers and swaying rough. Study the entire landscape. Soak up the traditional Australian palette of green and gold. At this point, hitting the ball is superfluous for the enjoyment of golf.
